You can pay crew to their bank accounts in two ways:
Bulk payment – Upload a payment file to pay multiple crew at once. Best for large payroll runs.
Individual payment – Add individual payment lines one by one in a Payment Batch. Useful for smaller or ad-hoc payments.

Go to Payments and select Payment upload
Download the International Upload File from the list of templates.Fill in the file
Add payment details for each crew member.
If the beneficiary is already created in your MarTrust Account, you don’t need to re-enter their data.
Important: If you include new or different data for an existing beneficiary, MarTrust will update that beneficiary’s profile. Uploading a file can either create a new beneficiary or modify an existing one.
Note: Always include the purpose and reference when submitting a payment.

In the Account section, select the account you want to debit.
Choose the correct file format.
Click Browse and select your completed file.
Click Upload. A message confirms the file was queued for processing.Check the upload status
In the same Payment Upload screen, select Status.
Locate your file and confirm Status shows Complete.
If the status is Failed, open the row to view and fix the errors, then upload again.
Select the Batch reference number of the uploaded file.
Review and submit for approval
Review the Payment batch summary and individual lines.
When everything is correct, select Submit, choose the approver(s), and select Notify.Once you submit, the batch moves to Booked status and will not be executed until an approver authorizes it.

Go to Payment batch
From the top menu, go to Payments, then select Payment batch.
Your default account will be selected automatically. Change it using the Account dropdown if needed.Enter batch details
Account – Select the account to be debited
Diarised date – Set the date for execution, or leave blank to pay today
Your reference – Add an internal label for reporting
Add a payment
Direction code – Select Buy or Sell
Buy currency – Enter the amount to be received
Sell currency – Enter the currency to be debited from your account
If different from the buy currency, MarTrust Account will display a live FX rate
Beneficiary – Select an existing payee or click Create to add one
Delivery method – Choose how funds travel
Charges – Choose who pays the transfer fees: OUR, BEN, or SHA
(Optional) Click Details to enter:

• Payment code
• Your reference (internal)
• Remittance advice (if email is available)
Click Add payment to include the line in your batch. Repeat this step for each crew member.
Submit for approval
Review the payment batch summary.
Click Submit, select the approver(s), then click Notify.
Once submitted, the payments are booked but won’t be processed until approved.
