Use this procedure if you prefer to receive a one-time verification code by email instead of setting up an authenticator app.
1. Enter your username
Type the vessel account in Username.
2. Enter your temporary password
Copy the password from the welcome email and paste it in Password.
3. Request a verification code
Select Get code.
4. Send the code by email
Select Send code by email.
When the confirmation message appears, select OK.
5. Return to the sign-in page
Select Back.
6. Sign in with the code
Enter the vessel account in Username and the same password in Password.
Enter the 6-digit code from your inbox in Verification code.
Select Sign in.
Tip: The verification code expires quickly. If you see “Your login attempt was not successful. Please try again,” request a new code and complete the steps within the time limit.
